Vir, Rishi reunite for 'Khanna Patel'

By IANS

Mumbai, Dec 17 (IANS) After working together in "London Dreams", actor-comedian Vir Das will share the frame with Rishi Kapoor in Sanjay Chhel's "Khanna Patel".

Vir plays the veteran actor's son in the film, said a statement.

"Khanna Patel" is a comical love story of a Punjabi boy and a Gujarati girl.

"The film is possibly Vir's most commercial outing and he plays a character with a very hardcore Punjabi flavour," said a source close to the project.

Known for his amazing comic timing in films like “Go Goa Gone” and “Delhi Belly”, this film also will see Vir Das in a comical role, which goes well with Rishi Kapoor's fabulous acting.

“It also brings Vir's brand of young humour into a film with two legends adding their own magic, and so there's something for all ages,” the source added.

The film also stars Paresh Rawal and has been produced by Bohra Bros.
